We all have questions right?
If you can't find the answer to your question here, feel free to submit a question via my contact page.

What’s the difference between a financial advisor, financial planner, and financial coach?
- Financial advisors typically focus on mortgages, loans, insurance and investment products.
- Financial planners often take a broader approach, creating comprehensive financial plans.
- Financial coaches provide guidance on personal finance fundamentals like changing your mindset, beliefs and habits to achieve better money and debt management, including financial goals.
Financial advisors and planners often require licenses, while coaches may not. Fees for coaches vary based on the services offered where fees for financial advisors and planners can be a mix of client paid fees and commissions earned from the products or investments they arrange for you.
Choose the one that best aligns with your specific needs and goals.
How long does the financial coaching program take?
Depending on the program you choose and believe is the right fit for what you want to achieve, coaching can vary from one off sessions to ongoing programs that cover anything from one month to twelve.
Completing a complimentary call is the best way to work out what the right fit might look like for you.
Do you offer debt counselling?
No, I do not provide debt counselling, however I can help those looking for a strategy to smash out their debts. For anyone recycling debt and looking to break the cycle, and start building their own savings, I may be able to help.
If you are behind in payments and creditors are putting pressure on you for payment, a debt counselling service like CAB or CAP is likely to be a better organisation to help.
Either way you are most welcome to book a complimentary call to determine if we are the right fit to help get you where you want to be financially.
What if I want more in-depth financial guidance?
I often get inquiries from people wanting more in-depth coaching to incorporate areas like investing and retirement planning.
My purpose is to assist clients first gain a more holistic financial strategy that allows them to then investigate investment and retirement planning strategies having first built a clear foundation and understanding of their finances.
This reduces risks of future investments becoming outside of their means to maintain.
Once you have your foundation clear, I can point you in the direction of trusted advisors qualified in specific areas or you can research the market or seek referrals from friends for who to engage with for the next step of your financial planning.
Are you going to try to sell me products?
If you mean loans, insurance or investments, I am not licensed to sell any financial products or provide investing advice.
In addition I do not manage your money or assets. Instead, I empower you with the support and tools to make your own money decisions.
Choosing to invest in yourself and receive coaching whether one off or ongoing is an investment you choose to make because it provides a service you see value in receiving.
Completing a complimentary call to determine if what I offer is worth your investment is without obligation and a great place for you to start if you want to fully understand what I do.
Why isn’t financial coaching free?
Financial advisors are often paid for by the lender or insurance company they place your business with. So as a customer the perception is they work for free.
I don’t really know too many people in life who genuinely work for free, do you?
Financial coaching is no different to a personal trainer at a gym, sure you can turn up and use the equipment without one but you may spend years trying to achieve the results you want because you’re not using the right equipment (or maybe you are but not how it is meant to be used).
So you don’t need to invest in a coach but the testimonies of those that have speak volumes to the progress they make. It really is a choice.
As a financial coach my role is to help you on that journey and for you, removing years of trial and error wondering why it is you earn good money but never feel like you’re achieving what you really want to.
To understand more about what I do, schedule a complimentary call to determine if we are the right fit to help get you where you want to be financially.
